I was born against my will, and yet have found that I persist. Growing up in the horrors of lower Manhattan in the wake of nine eleven I watched the culture and people I knew be displaced and destroyed. The solace of my fractured mind has been the pursuit of creation. Working in a variety of mediums, I have sewn, filmed and always drawn the terrible things in my head. I hope my work means something, but wont hold out for you to figure it out. I make because in my life I have found that I have no other choice.
